CARING FOR RESIN
To maintain the beauty of your resin piece, wash with soap and water then finish with a light coating of mineral oil (not necessary for white marble, white, frost, linen, linen marble, or moss). All resin colours are consistent throughout. Any scratches can be easily buffed out by using a mild abrasive cleaner, pad or light sandpaper. Resin is sensitive to extreme hot or cold temperatures. It is not dishwasher, oven, freezer or microwave safe.
CARING FOR BRASS
Martha Sturdy solid brass pieces are designed with an evolving patina. Over time the surface appearance will slowly evolve and change. Any contact with liquid or food may mark brass surfaces. To clean brass, wipe with a damp to dry cloth. Using a brass cleaner will remove the patina finish. A very light coat of mineral oil can be applied to make brass designs look more lustrous. For brass table owners that do not want their piece to mark, Martha suggests placing glass over the table.
CARING FOR STEEL
Martha’s steel designs are hand treated with either a charcoal, rust or acid wash finish. This coating can break down over time if exposed to the elements. Any contact with liquid or food may mark steel surfaces. Steel pieces can be washed with warm soapy water and then immediately dried by hand. For steel table owners that do not want their tables to mark, Martha suggest placing glass over the table.
